In initially approaching the design for this project we focused on incorporating a modern and unique look while preserving some of the beauty and charm that makes 550 Biltmore a historic building in City Beautiful. We work with clean and modern straight lines but assuring that the design does not divorce from the building structure. Striving that each space makes you feel relaxed and bringing lifestyle to a medical office as opposed to that sterile feeling of a traditional medical office.

We implemented neutral and contrasting colors, with a functional lighting design, highlighting aesthetics through the volumes and details of the ceilings, while still making good use of the natural light. Hints of gold are sprinkled throughout the facility which in addition to being sophisticated and elegant connects us with the imposing profiles that are repeated on the façade.

The main reception greets you with a unique element that makes this project an icon, standing out and identifying us by its particular shape. It is a fragmented, backlit pillar of wooden beams. We use emblematic furniture such as the Knoll Womb chair, which in addition to its timeless design, has incredible comfort for the reception area, as well as some accents with the Up Tonon chair that with its colors and aesthetics, it brings design to the spaces where it's found.
